We believe in the concept of the “Startup Triad”.  We are really excited about our founding team - we’ve worked together in differing capacities before and have been having a blast working together on SocialGuides - and startups are damn hard work so it is important to enjoy and believe in your team.   Here is a little about each of the team members.  We will be adding more to this page soon…

Jeremy Almond. Technology Guy (& CEO) startup experience includes Travature (founder/CTO), Digital Instruments (exit) & Veeco. Umass MBA and UCSB Computer Engineering. Currently writing code and running the company.

Scott Campbell. Product Guy – experience includes Google LocalSearch, ContextWeb & MTV. NYU Business and CIS. Currently writing code.

Christian Gammill. Business Guy – experience includes Teleflip, Mobile-XL, Travature, IBM and AvTech Labs (exit). Michigan MBA and MSU Chemistry. Currently working on consumer launch and B2B customer development.

Extended Team. Interns and Friends of SG – PR/Mkt, Community and Developers.

Anderee Berengian. Active investor and advisor focused on early and mid stage companies. 15+ years in tech in including successes at GoTo/Overture/Yahoo. Global experience in 30+ countries. Expertise in dealmaking, strategy and monetization. UCLA Biochemistry and MBA.

Sanjay Parakh. Founder of Startup Riot, investor, board member for a number of startup companies. Previously founder and CEO of Digital Envoy, geolocation based IP intelligence (acquired in 2007). Inventor and patent holder for location based IP technology. Acknowledged on MIT’s top innovators list and named a technology pioneer by the World Economic Forum.

Mitch Free. Founder & CEO of MFG.com. Previously founder and CEO of 3DATUM and senior management positions at Northwest Airlines. Two U.S. patents. Finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year - Inc. Magazine (2005) & Ernst & Young (2008). Avid speaker – recently at Kellogg School of Business, Harvard Business School, and TED.

Dave Williams. Founder & CEO of BLiNQ (social advertising). Previously founded 360i (search marketing firm sold in 2007). Active investor through his investment company Nicol Capital LLC.
