Jeremy Almond. Founder & CEO.
Has lead technology-based companies from napkin based startups, to multi-million dollar engineering firms, to publicly traded global corporations, in roles such as President, CTO, and the Enterprise Architect. He started his career as an engineer at Digital Instruments, puchased by Veeco Instruments. Jeremy holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara, and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts.
Christian Gammill. President & Cofounder.
Has extensive startup experience as COO, VP, consultant and advisor across a range of consumer internet/mobile categories. Previously he was a strategist at IBM focused on marketing and innovation with global scope and responsibility. He started his career as a chemist at a pharma startup lab (sold to Eurofins) working with Upjohn & Parke-Davis (both now Pfizer). Christian holds an MBA from University of Michigan and a BS in Chemistry from Michigan State University.
Scott Campbell. Cofounder & Chief of Product.
Has led several groundbreaking projects, startups, and companies, most recently at Google, refining their LocalSearch product. He also helped build dynamic ad insertion into streaming media (in 1999), was developer & lead network engineer for the MTV product Urge, and Lead Engineer at ContextWeb one of the leading real-time ad exchange solutions. He holds both a BA in business administration and BS in computer information systems from New York University.
Dani Doering. Code Hacker & Caped Crusader.
Dani Doering has extensive background engineering with a variety of web & mobile technologies, starting her career at SocialGuides as an intern and holds her place as Employee #1. Other engineering accomplishments include Hublife (Android mobile phone app), Fair Trade Studios web development, and building an Android phone-controlled robot for her school. She holds a BS in Computer Science from Georgia Southern University.

SocialGuides is a Social CRM and Commerce platform for local businesses. At our core we build tools that help businesses do Social Marketing. We make it easy to manage your reputation (what people are saying – good and bad) and help you get new customers in the door (by offering social deals that generate immediate revenue).
Our goal is get your biggest fans to become your best champions. We believe the best way to reach people is through relationships, not megaphones.
Why did we build SocialGuides?
Because we think social media helps level the playing field for local businesses in a new wave of customer relationships. We all believe that there is an amazing opportunity for the social web to help connect businesses to customers in a way that just didn’t exist a few years ago. We also believe businesses should control their own destiny across the two largest social platforms (Twitter and Facebook – an aggregate user base of >600 million). So our objective is clear – provide a suite of tools that enable businesses to participate in social media in a way that’s easy, measurable and meaningful. Ninjas optional
